UV Detectives
Put your students on the case of detecting UV radiation and the best means of protecting ourselves from it. Using UV sensitive beads students will test the effectiveness of different sunscreen products (as well as other items) in blocking UV radiation. They will use the results of the investigation and information they gather about the UV index to make informed choices for protecting themselves.
